Resources
There are many
resources to help
students and coach
find their way into
understanding
various events in
Science Olympiad.
Because events
change in part or in
whole each year,
resources found on
the Internet should
be taken as a guide.
The final say in
what is allowed and
what might be
covered is in the
event rules.
Rules can be
interpreted in
slightly different
ways. If there
is a rule that is
unclear or can be
easily
misunderstood,
please consult with
your Head Coach.
The Head Coach will
assist in the
interpretation and
escalate a formal
question to the
Regional Director.
If the Regional
Director cannot
resolve the
question, it will be
further escalated to
state and/or
national directors
for clarification.
As you can imagine,
this may take some
time, so rules
should be carefully
read early on so
that responses to
questions can be
received in time to
correct any
direction taken
earlier.
